Molykote 1102 is a special mineral lubricant (mineral oil-based grease) for valves, gas fittings or gas taps with metal joints or for valves whose construction contains glass or plastics. Molykote 1102 special grease is suitable for all types of gas taps and valves in residential and industrial facilities.
Molykote 1102 mineral grease offers ideal use wherever there are requirements for the following properties:
·good oxidation resistance,
glass valves,
·temperature resistance of the lubricant up to 160°C (short-term up to 220°C),
·high resistance to water, diluted acids and many chemicals,
·zero drop point (prevention of melting or leakage of the lubricant from the place> 1102 is used both in the gas industry for lubricating main gas valves and for gas valves on secondary distribution systems, lubricating valves of instantaneous heaters, gas boilers, pressure tanks and other industrial and domestic equipment.
