Molykote 1000 is a high performance, nickel and lead free lubricant providing superior protection for threaded connections over a wide temperature range. It is used to prevent seizure or seizing of threaded connections that are repeatedly assembled and disassembled, e.g. for nuts, screws, studs, bolts, hinges, etc. under pressure.
Molykote 1000 Screw Paste offers ideal use in corrosive environments where it is necessary to ensure easy disassembly of threaded connections or preload after tightening to precise torque. Molykote 1000 high-temperature paste with solid lubricants provides long-term thread protection in demanding industrial environments where:
