The low crown nut according to DIN 937, ISO 7035 and ČSN 021412 is designed for applications where it is necessary to secure threaded connections with a cotter pin, and is also suitable for connections with limited space. This nut has a hexagonal shape and is made of steel with strength class 17H, which guarantees high resistance and reliability in demanding conditions.

The nut has a metric fine thread with dimensions M36x3.00, with a thread pitch of 3.00 mm. The outer diameter of the nut is 50 mm, the width across the surfaces (s) is 55 mm and the width across the edges (e) is 60.79 mm. The total height of the nut (m) is 20 mm, while the height of the crown (k) is 13 mm. The slot for the cotter pin is 7 mm wide, which allows for secure fastening of the cotter pin and prevents the nut from loosening spontaneously.

The surface treatment is made with white zinc plating, which provides additional protection against corrosion and increases the service life of the nut in environments with higher humidity or chemical aggressiveness.
