Ceresit CS 8 is a one-component acetoxy silicone sealant for universal use Characteristics high adhesion permanently elastic waterproof for interior and exterior weatherproof Areas of application Ceresit CS 8 is a one-component acetoxy silicone sealant for universal use in interior and exterior. The sealant hardens with air humidity at room temperature and creates a flexible and durable joint. CS 8 has good adhesion to glass, ceramic tiles, glazed and painted surfaces, enamel, anodized aluminum, etc. without the need for penetration. It can be used for sealing glass fillings, installing sanitary equipment, as a seal for boats, ships, cars, trailers, etc. The hardened sealant is resistant to common cleaning agents and many chemicals and has excellent long-term protection against weathering (UV radiation, rain, ozone, salt, etc.). Do not use CS 8 for bonding mirrors and aquariums and for sealing joints in natural stone tiles (e.g. marble, granite). In this case, choose a special silicone for natural stone. Do not use CS 8 on polyethylene and PTFE (Teflon).
