Instructions for use:
When gluing absorbent materials to non-absorbent ones, Alkaprén® 50 Plus adhesive is applied only once, either with a spatula, spray gun or brush. When gluing absorbent materials, at least one of the glued materials must be coated once more before gluing. The adhesive must be thoroughly mixed before application. A thin layer of adhesive is applied to each clean, degreased surface (smooth surfaces are recommended to be roughened), allowed to dry and then both surfaces are glued. It is recommended to load or press the glued joint. The glued joint can only be mechanically stressed 24 hours after gluing. The optimal conditions for gluing are at a temperature of 20°C. Supercooled adhesive creates a joint with significantly lower strength. At temperatures below 5°C, gelation may occur. In this state, the adhesive is unusable. The original consistency is obtained by gradually warming it up in a room at a temperature of approximately 25°C. During tempering, the adhesive must be stirred several times. After tempering, the adhesive has its original physical and mechanical properties. It is not tempered by direct heating! At temperatures below 0°C, the adhesive irreversibly coagulates and its adhesive properties cannot be revived.
Cleaning:
Tools are cleaned with Alkaprén® ZAL thinner. If the skin is contaminated, an abrasive paste, e.g. SOLVIT, is used
